Appointments

We do operate an appointment system with various options available. Please telephone the surgery where you will be asked to provide some information about the reason for an appointment.

The request will then be assessed by a clinician and the following options will be decided by using a 'triage' process ( Assessment of urgency and need)

  • A call back from the most relevant member of the team within 72 hrs (same day if considered necessary)
  • A video call may be arranged if required
  • A text message or an email from a clinician or admin team
  • A face to face pre-booked appointment

The Clinical Team

In a number of cases it might that a different clinician such as a Nurse Practitioner or Paramedic contacts you rather than a doctor. All are qualified to deal with many conditions including providing a prescription and referring you to other clinical teams if necessary.
